I would highly recommend a trip to Cherokee Run. Tom Naumann and his family are great to deal with and he is the only hunting lodge owner that has ever kept in contact with me after the hunt. I enjoy the occasional updates and when I talk about him I call him my friend Tom. The lodge is very comfortable with enough room for large groups and it would be a great place to bring your kids to bond with them during a hunt. They have a great practice range next to the lodge along with stocked fishing ponds which have some really good fish in them. They have some great hunting locations and the stands are very comfortable. Our guide was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to stop and pick up disc for my camcorder while I was hunting. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.

For me, the hunt was an awesome experience. Simply going into a new environment (much different than the Midwest) and seeing different habitat, and different kinds of wild game was a great experience to look forward to each time we went out on stand. Also, because the purpose of this trip for me was about more than just a hunt, I felt the Lord certainly directed us to Cherokee Run. If honesty and integrity are important qualities to you, then you need to certainly consider contacting Tom Naumann and booking a hunt that will be a fun and memorable experience.
